Guizhou, a less-developed province in China, will create files for its 9 million impoverished people in 9,000 poor villages, according to the provincial government.
Although Guizhou is committed to reducing poverty through industrial development and financial policies, there are still problems regarding poverty alleviation funds.
To address poverty alleviation, the local government plans to find impoverished people and create files on them.
The provincial poverty alleviation information platform will also be linked with the national information network system for poverty alleviation, guaranteeing the process is transparent and the information is reliable.
Guizhou needs to implement a refined management for helping the poor, according to Chen Min'er, the provincial governor.
Chen stressed the importance of building an accurate information platform for poverty alleviation.
More than 55,000 officials have been dispatched to villages in Guizhou this year to help the poor.
